Forbes-coined category for AI-agent-authored code that compiles, passes tests, and deploys but whose reasoning is not preserved in commit history. The 4% Claude-Code GitHub commit share (projected to 20% by end-2026) means hidden vulnerabilities analogous to the Linux 23-year bug may surface on a ~2-year timescale because architectural decisions were never articulated by a human. Made effectively unauditable by Undercover Mode, which strips Co-Authored-By AI attribution on commits from Anthropic employees in public repos — removing the one signal audit tools could use to flag AI-authored code.
