Fucks Chart

Description

Informal cohort-level frustration-tracking dashboard Boris Cherny built into Claude Code's development telemetry. Graphs the frequency of user-input profanity against product quality metrics over time, on the working hypothesis that as Claude Code improves at completing tasks, users swear at it less. A spike in profanity rate functions as an early-warning signal for regressions in model performance or tool reliability. Complements the per-session frustration detection system (userPromptKeywords.ts regex + LLM-labeled satisfaction scoring): the formal system tracks whether an individual user is frustrated; the 'fucks chart' tracks frustration intensity across the entire user base as a time-series cohort signal.
